If You Really Want to Sell Your Chino Hills Home, Don’t Leave Buyers At The Door

By Keisha Hosea Leave a Comment

If  You Really Want to Sell Your Chino Hills Home, Don’t Leave Buyers At The DoorAfter all the paperwork is signed and the home is prepared for sale, the next logical thing to do is to find a Chino Hills buyer. Most Chino Hills buyers intend to occupy the home and would very much like to see the inside of the home. There is nothing more frustrating for a buyer than getting excited about viewing a home only to be turned away.

When a home is shown by appointment only then buyers and Chino Hills buyers agents should abide by the showing instructions and appointments set. Similarly, sellers should extend the courtesy to buyers that once a bonafide appointment has been set that they actually allow the buyer inside.

Standing out on the porch while the homeowners can be heard roaming around inside and ignoring the buyers at the door definitely causes one to wonder whether there is a real intent to sell the home. Answering the door and telling the buyer that they will have to come back because you are eating dinner is perfectly acceptable if the buyer has shown up outside of their scheduled appointment time, but if the buyer has arrived as scheduled then this behavior is unsatisfactory. Of course, life happens and things come up. A phone call to reschedule or cancel should occur whether it is the buyer who must cancel or the seller who must cancel.

Bilateral courtesies must occur at the onset from all parties. After all, one never knows just who you will actually enter a contract to purchase a Chino Hills home. If we all work together to make the process of selling a Chino Hills home smoother, many frustrations can be avoided.

Preparing a Chino Hills home for sale can be a big process. Finding a buyer could be easier but sellers have to let the buyer inside.

Your Corona CA Real Estate Agent Should Respect Your Privacy. Do They?

Your Corona CA Real Estate Agent Should Respect Your Privacy. Do They?

One of the issues that many people are concerned about when they buy or sell a home in Corona is their privacy. It’s the reason that many home sellers in Corona do not want a sign in the yard or a buyer may not want to use their friend because of the financial information that must be shared. All of  these concerns are valid. Much of the information about real estate is public information, however, there is a certain professional decorum that I believe most people should be able to expect from their Corona Realtor. Part of most people’s selection process when choosing a real estate agent is to select someone that they feel they can trust.

This hit home for me recently as I stood talking with a group of co-workers recently. As we stood in the open public bantering, one of my co-workers came across a person that they knew. As they shouted out to them, the person drew near the group. Much to my surprise, the Real Estate Agent then asked the person, “How’s your house coming along with the bank? Did they give you a loan modification?” As the person stood there sort of like a deer in the headlights, the Real Estate Agent turns to the group and says, “Yeah, I had to do a BPO on their house.” After mumbling a few words but avoiding a direct answer, the person quickly moved away from the group. They were mortified and so was I. Once alone with the other agent, I did voice my concern about the interaction. It just made me thin about how careless people can become when they are so used to dealing with a certain issue. Yes, real estate agents are dealing with loan modification situations, BPO’s (Broker Price Opinion), short sales and foreclosures everyday. It has become part of the norm and really most have probably become somewhat desensitized to the whole phenomenon. However, it does not mean that the rest of the world is.  This is why carefully selecting a real estate agent is crucial. Worrying about whether the next time you see your real estate agent in public, they are going to mention something highly personal or not. Proceed with caution.

Ten Things To Do Around Los Angeles, CA

Ten Things To Do Around Los Angeles, CA
Since the Inland Empire is only a 45 mile trek to Los Angeles, many visitors take advantage and go check out the sites of greater Los Angeles. Here are a few things you could do while in Los Angeles.

1.  Check out Downtown Los Angeles
There are a ton of things to do downtown. There’s the garment district with loads of great shopping, the jewelry mart, China town, Olvera Street and loads of historical points of interest. One of my favorite spots for great Chinese food is Yang Chow’s.

2.  The Staples Center

Got time to take in a great concert or a sporting event? The Staples Center offers supreme entertainment.
3.  Los Angeles Convention Center
This is another great venue. You can check out a Home and Garden Show, attend a trade show or a host of other events.
4. The Hollywood Bowl
There’s lots of great entertainment venues around the L.A. area. The Hollywood Bowl happens to be one of them.
5.  The Griffith Park Observatory
Take a look at the stars at the Griffith Park Observatory along with gorgeous views of the city.

6.  Don’t forget to take a peek at The Hollywood Sign
You can’t visit Los Angeles without visiting the Hollywood Sign!

7.  There are plenty of gorgeous upscale homes around the Los Angeles area, who knows you might even spot the home of a star or two if you are not careful!

This Is A Glimpse Of The Home Of Lamar Odom of The L.A. Lakers and Khloe Kardashian

8.  Let’s not forget a trip to the sunny Southern California beaches. Which one will you visit?9.  Kodak Theatre
Go catch a great show like Cirque du Soleil or the Academy Awards. You can even take a guided tour.
10.  And last but not least, if you get a chance to tour it all on a Los Angeles helicopter ride like I did, you are sure not to be disappointed!

Four Things To Think About When Buying A One Bedroom Condo in Fountain Valley CA

Four Things To Think About When Buying A One Bedroom Condo in Fountain Valley CA

1. A one bedroom condo can be a good entry into the housing market if you are on a limited budget.

2. With rising rent rates, you are making a wiser financial decision by purchasing a one bedroom Fountain Valley condo than by renting a condo.

3. Remember, just as much as you are buying a home to live in you are also buying an area. The advantage to buying a one bedroom condo in Fountain Valley is that Fountain Valley remains a highly desirable area of Orange County.

4. Consider creating a highly functional, efficient living space. Instead of just purchasing a regular sofa for the living room, consider a pull out sofa that can double as bedding for overnight guest. There’s a way to live a “less is more lifestyle.” Creating dual purpose living spaces is one of them.
